What to build

Win on reliability alone, then market it explicitly against the incumbent.

Complaint themes

• Crashes & stability

Basic reliability is missing; this is the cheapest wedge to out-execute on.

  Long press previewing is buggy

  New update SUCKS

• Aggressive paywall

Value is gated before users feel it; trust is destroyed at the worst moment.

  Great app

Can nt share note with gmail

• Missing capability

Explicit feature asks — the closest thing to free product requirements.

  Horrible update

  Sooo Buggy

• Data loss & sync

Trust-destroying failures; users will migrate to anything that is provably safe.
